MEZQUITOSA We have rebuilt the old houses in the Mezquitosa ranch, we tried to preserve as much as we could the old style of construction used originally in the region, with the flavor of our Mexican culture and customs, thick stone and adobe walls, high wooden ceiling to provide an ambient cool in summer and warm in winter. We offer the authentic feel of a remote and foreign land.
House 1 has two berdrooms with individual baths, dinner and kitchen with chimeney to cook with gas or wood and fire. Ample porch to sit and watch the senery. House 2, two bedrooms, two baths, living room with chimeney, dinning and kitchen with chimeney to cook with gas or wood and fire.
Both houses are energized with solar & wind power, generator available to be used in case of lack of power due to poor wind & continuous cloudy days.
There is a ¾ of mile earthen landing strip in the ranch for those who whish to come in their private planes, or charter them to bring them from Laredo, Eagle Pass or Monterrey.
MANZANARES We have an ample house with three bedrooms and two full baths, kitchen and living room. The paved road which ties Sabinas, Coah., with Anahuac, N.L. is the southern limit of these ranch, so access is assured under any climatic conditions. Solar power with backup generator is the main source of electric power to the house.
We shall maintain adequate sanitary facilities and serve wholesome food, both services to be conditioned only by the primitiveness of the surroundings.
